General Conditions:1. The University reserves the right to withdraw advertised post(s) at any time without giving any reason.
2. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the minimum essential qualification / experience laid down for the post.
3. Other things being equal preference will be given to SC/ST/PH candidates.
4. 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST/PH candidates are to be given as per Govt. of India rules.
5. The minimum requirement of 55% marks at P.G. level may not be insisted upon for the existing incumbents who are already in University system. However, 50% marks for such incumbent is essential at P.G. level.
6. Candidates with higher qualifications and experiences in relevant areas may be given preferences.
7. Mere possessing of minimum qualification shall not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
8. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
9. Those who are employed in Govt. organizations/ Autonomous Bodies should route their applications through proper channel.
10. Late and incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
11. After joining the service of the University, the candidate will have to abide by the Rules, Regulations and the Ordinances of the University applicable to Pauri and Tehri Campus also depending upon the exigency of the work.
12. The University shall verify the antecedents or documents submitted by the candidate at any time during tenure of service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted by the candidates are fake or the candidate has a clandestine antecedents/ background for which he has been convicted by any court and has suppressed the said information, then his services shall be terminated.
13. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after issue of the appointment letter, the University reserves the right to modify/withdraw/ cancel any communication made to the candidates.
14. No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding postal delays, conduct and result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview.
15. Other terms & conditions of the service shall be governed as per UGC Norms/GOI rules circulated from time to time.
16. Prescribed application form to be downloaded from the University’s website: hnbgu.ac.in and will be required to enclose the bank draft of Rs. 300/- ( Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PH candidates) as fees drawn in favour of Finance Officer, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar Garhwal (in absence of required amount of draft, application will be out rightly rejected).
17. The complete application form alongwith required documents viz. attested copies of Degrees, Marksheets, experience certificates etc should be sent by Speed Post/ Registered Post to the Registrar, HNB Garhwal University ( A Central University),Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand which should reach the Registrar latest by 4th
August, 2010.
18. Envelop containing application should be superscribed as “Application for the post ———- as the case may be.
19. Fees once paid shall not be refunded in any circumstances.
